Maybe she doesn't though and that's why she's afraid of getting water in her eyes now...I traumatized her as an infant/toddler and didn't even know it. AAHHH!!!MissUTSAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18001416553797768098noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3849746741752006640.post-67975720739548682502008-05-07T14:02:00.000-05:002008-05-07T14:02:00.000-05:00A logistical question on showering with a toddler:...A logistical question on showering with a toddler: does Hayden stay in the front part of the shower, closest to the fixtures, or do you point the shower head sort of down so that you stand closest to the wall and shield him from most of the spray? I haven't been brave enough to put Samson in the shower with me since he became mobile enough to wreak havoc, but I suspected that my optimum shower temp would be too hot for him.

On parenting advice from the previous generation: my strategy (when I can keep my temper under control) is to smile and nod and say, "Hmm. I hadn't considered that..." no matter what ridiculous suggestion has been made. Then I try to quickly change the subject to anything the adviser loves to discuss. If it's my dad, it's something like, "So, did you near the new George Strait record yet? Can you believe this is his 84th album?" If it's my sister, it's "I just passed Chico's and noticed that everything is marked 30% off. What a deal!"LeftyMamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11529519277413640202noreply@blogger.com
