There are those days, when it's 10am and I'm already at the end of my rope.
I cannot imagine getting through the day.
The noise level in my house matches any concert or sporting event.
Happiness factor is zero.
Whining is up 400%
That's when I declare
cabin fever and toss everyone
outside - muddy yard or not.
Just so I can
breathe.
How about you? What do you do on those days?

I go out. I know that sounds odd, but it somehow improves that way. Go for a walk. Go for a drive. Go anywhere, haha
Sometimes, the thought of loading everyone into the car, let alone the stroller, makes me want to go back to bed.
Mostly because my boys are nutty - they CANNOT leave the house with out shoes, socks, goldfish, and sippy cups (x2). I'm not kidding. Disaster will ensue.
To me it helps to get out of the house where Evan will be distracted by something. A lot of times on those days we'll go to Petsmart and look at the fish, the cats, the rodents and the birds. Last time we went, Evan just stood there forever watching a hamster running around its cage. But, I only have one to load up and keep track of.
Playing out in the yard is good too, but our backyard isn't very kid-friendly yet so it has to be the front yard... which means keeping him away from the street. On good days he's great about that, but bad days it can be rough.
When I'm really desperate, I call Grandma!! ;)
Where can I buy one of those "Grandmas" you speak of?? Ours are far away. Boooo.
I have the utmost sympathy for people who don't have Grandmas close by. :( I don't know what I'd do without them.
